About Sharon Terrano
Sharon Terrano has shared her art across Maine for her entire life. After studying art in vocational school, her talent has inspired people for more than 40 years, from giant murals to miniature paintings made for dollhouses.
Her work has always carried fun, enjoyment, and laughter with it. One of my favorite memories is the day Sharon transformed vandalism on a public picnic table into a beautiful butterfly. It was a perfect glimpse of her gift: turning something crude and hurtful into a small work of beauty.
In the dawn of AI, when art can feel at risk of being swallowed by robot overlords, Sharon's work is a reminder to pay attention to the simple, human and wonderfully fun things in life.
